전라남도가 반려동물과 함께 즐기는 여행문화를 선도한다.

도는 관광지 순환버스 ‘남도한바퀴’의 11월 특별코스로 반려견 동반 당일 여행과 1박 2일 남도여행 상품을 새롭게 선보인다고 밝혔다.

이번 프로그램은 반려동물을 가족처럼 여기는 ‘펫팸족(Pet+Family)’이 급증함에 따라, 남도의 자연과 명소를 반려견과 함께 둘러볼 수 있도록 기획됐다.

■ 토·일 주말마다 반려견 동반 코스 운영
반려견 동반 코스는 11월 한 달 동안 매주 토·일요일 총 4회 운영된다.
11월 14일: 곡성 섬진강기차마을·도림사
11월 15일: 강진만생태공원·보성 율포해수욕장
11월 21일: 순천 드라마세트장·오천그린광장
11월 22일: 구례 섬진강대나무숲길·담양 소쇄원

요금은 5만 원으로, 왕복 교통비와 식사·관광지 입장료가 모두 포함돼 있다.

특히 반려견과 함께 이동·탑승이 가능한 전용버스를 운영해 여행객의 편의를 높였다.

■ 전남 전역 대표 관광지 1박2일 코스도 마련
반려견 여행상품과 함께 남도 대표 관광지를 아우르는 1박2일 코스도 운영된다.

이 코스는 광주 유스퀘어에서 출발해 목포 해상케이블카–해남 산이정원–순천만국가정원–여수 아쿠아플라넷 등 전남 동·서부권 주요 관광지를 두루 둘러본다.

운영일은 11월 15·22·29일, 12월 6·13일 등 총 5회,

요금은 21만9천 원(2인 1실 기준)으로 숙박비, 4회 식사, 입장료, 우등버스비가 포함됐다.

■ “반려동물과 함께하는 여행문화 정착 기대”
오미경 전라남도 관광과장은 “이번 특별코스는 반려동물과 함께하는 여행을 일상 속 여가문화로 확산하기 위한 시도”라며 “남도한바퀴가 반려견 동반 여행의 새로운 이정표가 되어 전남 관광의 감동과 매력을 널리 알리는 계기가 되길 기대한다.”고 말했다.

이어 “앞으로도 계절별 테마를 담은 남도한바퀴 프로그램을 지속 선보여 전남의 다양한 매력을 즐길 수 있도록 하겠다.”고 덧붙였다.

Traveling the Namdo Trail with Your Dog
Jeollanam-do launches ‘Namdo Hanbaquii’ — the first pet-friendly travel course
― Special one-day and two-day weekend courses in November… A new trend in Namdo tourism ―
Jeollanam-do is taking the lead in promoting a travel culture that welcomes companion animals.
The province announced the launch of its special November “Namdo Hanbaquii” courses, featuring pet-friendly one-day and overnight (1 night, 2 days) travel programs that allow travelers to enjoy southern Jeolla’s natural scenery and attractions with their dogs.
This initiative was designed in response to the rapid rise of so-called “Petfam” (Pet + Family) travelers who consider their pets as family members.
■ Pet-friendly weekend tours every Saturday and Sunday
The pet-friendly routes will run four times throughout November, every Saturday and Sunday:
Nov. 14: Gokseong Seomjingang Train Village & Dorimsa Temple
Nov. 15: Gangjin Bay Ecological Park & Boseong Yulpo Beach
Nov. 21: Suncheon Drama Film Set & Ocheon Green Plaza
Nov. 22: Gurye Seomjingang Bamboo Trail & Damyang Soswaewon Garden
The package, priced at 50,000 KRW, includes round-trip transportation, meals, and admission fees.
A dedicated bus allowing pet boarding will be provided for greater convenience.
■ A two-day tour across Jeollanam-do’s top destinations
Alongside the pet tour, Jeonnam is also offering a 1-night, 2-day “Namdo Highlights” course, covering major attractions across the province.
Departing from Gwangju’s U-Square Bus Terminal, the route includes:
Mokpo Marine Cable Car – Haenam Sani Garden – Suncheon Bay National Garden – Yeosu Aqua Planet, spanning both the eastern and western coasts of Jeollanam-do.
The program operates on Nov. 15, 22, 29 and Dec. 6, 13 (5 sessions total).
The fare is 219,000 KRW per person (based on double occupancy) and includes deluxe bus transportation, four meals, admission fees, and accommodation.
■ “Building a new culture of pet-friendly travel”
Oh Mi-kyung, Director of Tourism at Jeollanam-do, stated:
“This special course aims to spread pet-friendly travel as part of everyday leisure culture. We hope Namdo Hanbaquii will become a new milestone in Jeonnam tourism, delivering memorable experiences for visitors traveling with their pets.”
She added,
“We will continue to introduce seasonal Namdo Hanbaquii programs that showcase the diverse charms of Jeollanam-do throughout the year.”
